Patrick Swayze, famous for his roles in films “Dirty Dancing” and “Ghost” has passed.  He had a 20-month battle with advanced pancreatic cancer.  The battle ended on Monday, September 14, 2009.  He was 57.

His publicist, Annett Wolf, told The Associated Press in Los Angeles that Mr. Swayze died with family at his side.  This is probably one of the best ways to go having the support of loved ones and providing them the opportunity to say goodbye.

Mr. Swayze’s cancer was diagnosed witht he life taking cancer in January 2008.

“How do you nurture a positive attitude when all the statistics say you’re a dead man?” he said to Bill Carter of The New York Times last October. “You go to work.”

In an interview with Barbara Walters, he said, “I keep my heart and my soul and my spirit open to miracles.”  “I want to live,” he said.

The younger generation probably won’t remember “The Golden Girls,” let alone know who they were. But for die hard Hollywood fans, they all know who The Golden Girls are and were. Probably one of the most hilarious characters on the show was Estelle Getty, the diminutive actress who spent 40 years struggling for success before landing a role of a lifetime in 1985 as the sarcastic octogenarian Sophia on TV’s The Golden Girls.

The sarcastic diva has now left us as she died at age 84.

Getty, who suffered from advanced dementia, died at about 5:30 a.m. Tuesday at her Hollywood Boulevard home, said her son, Carl Gettleman of Santa Monica.

It’s official, Katie Holmes has been Scientologized! What the heck is up with her hands? If you hadn’t noticed, the love of Tom Cruise has now been seen taking part of the popular ritual in Scientology, which some people know as the “Make My Hands Purple” ritual, or the more common term used in the circle called “Purif.”

Poor, poor Katie is having to do a lot for her hubby Tom Cruise. I really hope he appreciates and turns parts of his body purple for him. The basketball legend got divorced from ex-wife Juanita Jordan in 2006 after a 17 year marriage. There were other flavors that Jordan has tasted such as Lisa Micelli and Karla Knafel.  And Micelli even went on to file a paternity test against Jordan.  Knafel filed a $5 million lawsuit against Jordan saying that he promised to pay her in hush money about the affair. Knafel also filed a paternity test, which actually proved Jordan was not the father.  Hmmm, I wonder how much that cost???

Prieto is originally from Cuba and has previously dated into the Iglesias family…Well, Julio Iglesias Jr., the older brother of Enrique Iglesias.

Hot off the press…

Flipping Out is a reality television series on Bravo TV. The show is centered around real estate crazy Jeff Lewis in Los Angeles, California. The series features Lewis, his entourage of assistants and helpers, and the houses that he works to buy and sell for profit. The show is in its second season on Bravo and it has turned out to be a “FLIP“.

But the Hottness comes from Jeff’s assistant, Jenni. She was born in Portland, Oregon. She started out at the University of California, Los Angeles as a Theater & Film major and a Political Science minor. Then it turned for the worst, she married another one of Jeff’s assistants, Chris Elwood…BIG MISTAKE!!!

Chris Elwood was born in Cleveland, Ohio, moved to Atlanta after graduating from high school, where he began acting and married his first wife. This should have been a hint for Jenni. He later divorced his wife and moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting where he met Jenni. Chris is mostly recognized as one of the wingmen on Ashton Kutcher’s MTV show Punk’d.

The shocking news…Jenni just reported on her blog that her and Chris are getting a divorce! Chris brought a sense of idiot comedy to the show, but as it appears, he is no longer on the show after Jeff fired him. Jeff, being OCD and paranoid, installed hidden cameras in his home and shit hit the fan.

The end result, the break up of the show’s favorite couple, Chris Elwood and Jenni. What suck’s is Jenni is actually a really great person. She had no clue what her hubby was up to.

Cook is a certified creepO who had sexual relations (sound familiar) with a 15-year-old toy store employee and “privately, secretly” masturbated on web cameras.

In 1981 he posed in this banana hammock looking costume on the cover of GQ and damned if he didn’t look good.

Sister of Ashley, Jennifer Tisdale is breaking into her own. After her role in Bring It On,  Jennifer Tisdale has exploded into a star. Becoming a favorite of many, Jennifer Tisdale is definitely one to watch.

Jennifer’s acting credits include main characters in the movies The Hillside Strangler and Dark Ride. She had also a role in the MTV series Undressed.  Her younger sister may be more popular being an actress who plays Maddie on the Suite Life…but she better watch out…
